AI Feature Implementation Sprint

One defined AI feature, integrated into your product, with an agreed path to deployment.

For software founders and engineering teams adding AI to an existing product or building the first version of a new one. Start with a bounded problem rather than an open-ended AI transformation.

What you can hire us to build

A source-grounded assistant over your documents; an agent that uses approved tools with human checkpoints; a voice intake workflow; or an extraction and review pipeline connected to your existing systems. These are examples to scope, not prebuilt products or client case studies.

What the agreed scope produces

Milestones and communication

  1. Scope: review your workflow, data, existing code and feasibility. Agree deliverables, price, responsibilities and exclusions before implementation.
  2. Build: review working increments at a cadence agreed in the proposal. Track decisions and scope changes in writing.
  3. Evaluate: run agreed examples and error cases, review quality, latency and operating cost where relevant.
  4. Deploy and hand over: verify configuration, access, rollback and ownership with your team, then deploy with your approval.

What you supply

A decision maker, representative data you have permission to use, access to relevant code and test systems, integration credentials through a secure channel, and timely feedback. Hosting and model-provider accounts and charges are agreed separately.

Acceptance criteria

Before work starts, define supported inputs and actions, evaluation cases and quality thresholds, integration behavior, human review requirements and deployment checks. Completion is assessed against those criteria. New requirements are scoped as changes.

Scope boundaries

An unlimited agent, a complete product rebuild, unlisted integrations, data cleaning at unknown scale, compliance certification and guaranteed model accuracy are not assumed to be included. Discovery may identify a smaller prototype or show that AI is unsuitable.

Deployment, handover and support

The proposal specifies deployment ownership, documentation, access transfer and any training. Defect handling, warranty period, monitoring, maintenance and support hours must be agreed explicitly. There is no implied ongoing support subscription.

Timeline and pricing

Both depend on data readiness, feature scope, access and evaluation requirements. We discuss feasibility first and agree a proposal; there is no advertised fixed price or guaranteed delivery window.

Start with your project brief

Kartik Malhotra reviews your enquiry and follows up by email with questions or a proposed scoping conversation. Submitting a brief does not create a paid engagement.
